KnowledgeKube partnership with West Midlands Creative Alliance shortlisted for RBS Skills and Opportunities Award

A staggering 96% of those surveyed by application platform, KnowledgeKube, identified that more than a quarter of their processes were inefficient.

App platform KnowledgeKube has partnered with local learning provider Creative Alliance and Bareface Agency to help some of the most disadvantaged communities in Birmingham develop their digital skills through an exciting app building challenge called ‘Digital T Skills’.

And the project has been shortlisted to receive RBS Skills and Opportunities funding.

As the global development skills shortage continues to create a shortfall in meeting demand for business applications, KnowledgeKube is proving to enable users with or without an IT background to create web and mobile apps fast.  A credential recognised by the UK IT Industry Awards and a capability that has inspired the ‘Digital T Skills’ initiative.

If the project wins, RBS funding will enable the creation of a digital training programme, that includes KnowledgeKube for app development without writing code, plus all the resources needed to develop basic skills in design, digital content, creative, marketing, SEO and analytics.

A group of 30 unemployed and disadvantaged young people from Birmingham’s diverse communities will train for at least 120 hours over four months.

At the end of the training period users will present the app they have created to a group of creative and digital employers and two winners will be selected for a guaranteed apprenticeship.

Let’s make the project into a winner.
