KnowledgeKube, the app platform from software business Mercato Solutions, has won a prestigious Business Efficiency Award at the EEF/Aldermore Future Manufacturing Awards 2015.
This regional award recognises KnowledgeKube for creating significant opportunity for Mercato and its customers through real innovation over the traditional software development process.
A panel of judges drawn from business leaders, industry experts and academics were particularly impressed by the top to bottom involvement from Directors to Apprentices that delivered success. The highly important customer facing staff, known as implementers, and their use of this disruptive technology to deliver a successful rollout in 150 countries, further impressed the judges.
With the regional title under its belt, Mercato Solutions will now go on to compete for the national title at an awards gala dinner in London in January next year.
Peter Robbins, MD at Mercato Solutions, says: “This award confirms and recognises our people and the KnowledgeKube app platform they created are innovative. It also marks Birmingham as a key technology manufacturing heartland, helping global organisations realise their digital objectives. We look forward to affirming this position and doing Birmingham proud at the National Awards.”
Carl D’Ammassa, Group Managing Director - Business Finance at Aldermore: “Our congratulations go out to these companies on their well-deserved success. The range and calibre of entries makes their achievement even more impressive. Their success demonstrates the real depth of drive, vision and innovation amongst local manufacturers and we wish Mercato Solutions the best of luck for the national finals.”
